Today’s Encouragement is, “And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: ‘Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.’” Revelation 5:13 NLT
They Sang –
Would you dare to imagine Heaven with me for a moment? We cannot truly grasp its beauty, majesty, and mystery, but we can try.
Picture the worship that never ends. There are no amplifiers, microphones, or sound systems, only voices and instruments beyond anything we have known. Imagine sounds with no limits on range, played perfectly. The voices! No operatic diva comes close.
Notice who is singing, every creature, in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and in the sea. The song is not only for angels. All creation joins in, and all of it is aimed at the One on the throne and the Lamb.
The worship never stops (Revelation 4:8). You might think, “Surely we will get tired of it.” But No, nothing there will grow stale, because we will be in the presence of the One who is endlessly worthy.
And today, the endless song has already begun, and we are invited to join it. In traffic, at the kitchen sink, in a hospital waiting room, we can lift our own blessing and honor to our God. Our voices are now limited, but He hears us, His children honoring their perfect loving Father.
Lord of all, we thank You for the glimpse of Heaven and Your throne in Your Word. Help us to imagine the glory of Your Presence. Teach us to sing and worship You today, along with all Creation.
Agnus Dei
