Today’s Encouragement is, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20 NLT
Infinitely More –
Most of us think, I’ve got to achieve this or that, work harder, get more power, prestige, or be more intentional; the list is endless. Our human ability to accomplish great things is significant and has been proven time and again by many great people.
So – What?
God can accomplish much more than we can ask, more than we can think? Yes! Even more than we can possibly imagine!
We can’t imagine what God has prepared for us. Today, tomorrow, and into eternity. “No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9b ESV)
And His ways are also unimaginable. “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” (Isaiah 55:8 NLT)
God is beyond our understanding, even beyond our imagination. And according to today’s scripture, He can do infinitely more – through us – by His power – than we can ask or even imagine!
We can trust Him to run our lives because He can do infinitely more than we can. Our best efforts are dust before Him. We can do nothing without Him (John 15:5), but we can do anything through Him (Philippians 4:13).
Thank You, Father, for relieving us of the burden of striving to achieve greatness. You have already done it all, and Your way is infinitely more wonderful than anything we could ever do.
