Never Leave You –
Truths That Transform: God lives in us, always.
In His last message to His disciples, Jesus speaks clearly about the future relationship between God and His followers (us).
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence residing eternally in every believer because we are His people. We can’t earn His presence, nor does He come and go. He is not ‘more present’ or less at different moments of our lives. He will never leave us. (Hebrews 13: 5)
The reasons we often don’t realize His presence are many: our human skepticism, our focus on the physical world, the worries of this life (Luke 21:34), fear of the spiritual realm, denial, and others.
Yet His Truth is undeniable: God lives within each person who believes in Jesus.
We can be with Him, close, in His Presence, at any time, by simply turning our hearts and minds to Him.
He is not far away in an unapproachable heaven. He dwells and resides within us; we each are His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). And He desires for us to recognize and acknowledge Him, to speak with Him, to hear Him, and to rest in His Presence within us.
Thank You, Father, for choosing to reside within each of Your people. You chose us and made us Your own. Help us to grow in relationship with You, constantly aware of Your Presence, with us always.
