Everything You Need –
Truths That Transform: God knows our needs and will give us everything we need.
We often are concerned about the things we need: food, shelter, and the necessities of life; we usually make this list much longer with all our wants and desires. These things dominate the minds of unbelievers and will dominate our minds also unless we accept this truth. When we seek God’s kingdom first and live righteously, He will give us everything we need.
We seek His kingdom by staying in relationship with Him. Through prayer and praise, we can keep our hearts and minds focused on His ways, choosing to live in harmony with His Spirit, listening to His guidance, and doing our best to obey. This is also living righteously; being aware of His presence with and in us at all times.
And this is the state of existence that He offers to and desires for all of His people. It is available to all of us, yet few choose it.
The blessing which comes with such a life of right standing with Him and seeking His kingdom is His perfect provision. He provides everything we need. And He “already knows” our every need, and He can provide for us better than we or anyone else ever could!
Thank You, Father, for Your truth and for clearly explaining Your plans and provisions for us. You take such good care of us!
