For The Good –
Another Transforming Truth: For believers, God makes everything work together for our good!
This is true for all who love Him, and no one can love Him except those He has called (invited and urged) to Himself. It is true whether we recognize it or not.
Consider the example of the great love of good parents for their children. They work hard to provide for, nurture, educate, and protect them, whether the child is good or rebellious, appreciative or ungrateful; the love of good parents is a comprehensive effort, to do everything in their power for their child’s good.
In a similar but unimaginably greater way, God’s immeasurable Love for His own people compels Him to arrange things (He alone has the power) to work together for our good!
When we believe this truth, we can be at peace in trouble, rest when things go wrong, and trust Him to do exactly as He says and “cause everything to work together” for our good.
Father God, You are so very good to us. Help us to trust You, to rest in Your power at work in every situation and circumstance, in every problem and opportunity, to come together for our good. Thank You, Father.
