Transform –
Another Truth That Transforms: God will transform us into a new person. He does this by changing the way we think. Yet we have a critical role in this transformation. Our role is to let Him; we must allow and accept His work as it recreates us.
We don’t manage this process, read how-to books, or consult with anyone. As believers, God’s own people, once we believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord, we enter into God’s Transformation Project.
He knows each step of this effort, exactly when and how to introduce the varied challenges and refinements that He knows will work the transformation He desires in us. And remember, He has good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11)!
We also decide not to copy the ways of this world. He sets us apart, and even the way we think is transformed. Our minds control the direction of our lives, so God changes our minds; He transforms them so significantly that we become a new person.
And the result of this transformation process? We learn to know His will for us, and it is good, pleasing, and perfect.
Father God, we agree: Your way is best; Your plans are far better than we could ever imagine. So we choose to let You transform us, as You know best. We choose to trust You.
