Today’s Encouragement is, “I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” Psalm 9:1 NLT
I Will Tell –
This is Praise… telling others about all the marvelous, wonderful, beautiful, powerful, amazing things that God has done. God knows these things and so do we… but do others?
We might first think this pertains to the marvelous things God has done which are recorded in our Bible, and there are so many. But is that the limit? What about the things that God has done in your life?
Our own experiences with God are the most powerful. So you can ask yourself: What has He done for me? What has He set me free from? What blessings has He given me? What hope has He given? What confidence? Peace? Strength? Are there miracles? Is your life transformed? That’s certainly a miracle.
As you consider these questions, you are developing your own story of faith; some call this a testimony, an account of your experience, what you have seen, heard, and learned in your relationship with God this far. (He’s not finished yet.)
And this is your story. The story only you can tell; the marvelous things God has done in your life, for you, and through you. He will give you opportunities to do this when you ask Him. And, as you tell your story, you are praising Him with all your heart.
Thank you, Father, for allowing us to tell about all the marvelous things You have done. Help us have the courage to tell our own story of Your goodness, love, and grace.
