Today’s Encouragement is, “Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” Psalm 100:3 ESV
We are His –
My friends, as believers in Jesus:
We are His children, deeply and eternally loved.
He has chosen us, adopted us as His own sons and daughters.
We’re the sheep in His flock, cared for, fed, led, protected, tended to, and loved.
Because we are His, we’re washed clean of every sin, past, present, and future.
We’ve been made righteous – as if we’d never done any wrong!
Father God, Your love for us is overwhelming. That you should choose us – and make us Your own possession, Your own people, Your own family, Your own beloved – we do not have the words, Lord, to respond to such love! Help us to rest in what You have given, and to know that we belong to You.
