Earnest Prayer

Today’s Encouragement is, “So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.” Acts 12:5
Earnest Prayer –
“Well, the least I can do is pray for them.” Sometimes we say things that sound nice or caring but really are neither, and this is such a statement. But it is neither truthful nor logical if you have faith.
The truth is, the MOST you can do for anyone, including yourself, in any situation, in any circumstance… is to Pray!
We have the incredible privilege of being allowed to communicate directly with Almighty God Himself, as one of His beloved sons or daughters, expressing our hearts’ desires to Him.
And He hears!
He is Compassionate!
He loves you!
Friend, the greatest, most powerful, most influential, most caring, most loving thing we can do, for ourselves or for any other person, is to prayerfully bring them and their need before our loving almighty Father. Nothing else compares!
