Never Again

Today’s Encouragement is, “‘Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,’ says the LORD, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah 54:9-10 NLT

Never Again –

Did you hear that? God said to His people, “I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you.”
Was He lying, exaggerating, swearing to something that He can’t do?

We can trust God to be true to His Word. Everything the Bible says is trustworthy. Here He is explicitly clear.

Please, decide now, once and forever: God will not be angry with me, and He will not punish me. Say it out loud, read the passage again, and repeat as needed!

As believers in Jesus, we live in God’s Kingdom of Grace. Jesus has taken all the wrath, anger, and punishment that we appropriately deserve, and has settled it forever. And He said, “It is finished!”

We now have a perfectly restored, peaceful, loving, confident, trusting relationship with God our Father.

Thank You Father, for the Grace of Jesus, that He took our place, and we now live within Your Perfect Father’s Love, as Your own sons and daughters.
