Today’s Encouragement is, “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6 NLT
Except Through Me –
This isn’t a very popular statement. Jesus wasn’t being very sensitive or politically correct when He said this. Many have watered down this statement, saying, “There are many paths to God or to eternity.” But Jesus was clear, He never minced words, He spoke Truth, always! He even said, “I am the Truth!”
For many years in my Christian faith, I avoided using or speaking His Name. I would use the “less offensive term” God, or Lord, so as not to upset others. Coward.
There’s no denying or sugar-coating His words. He came to show us the Way to the Father. Jesus is the only Way.
Because we believe in Him as the Son of God, we can rest assured, trust, and confidently hope that He is, both now and eternally, our Savior. He is our Lord, King, Master, Redeemer, Brother, and Friend.
Our every need, hope, strength, and confidence comes through Him.
Look no further, my friend. When we believe in Jesus, recognizing all that He is and what He has done for us, we cannot help but be relieved of anxiety, worry, doubt, and fear.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for all that You Are! And for choosing to save us! Help us to rest in You!
