Today’s Encouragement is, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37 ESV
Nothing Is Impossible –
We nod at it and acknowledge the conceptual, theoretical truth that “Nothing is impossible for God.” Everyone generally accepts it. But do we believe it? Do we believe enough to stake our lives on it?
“Well, you have to understand,” says the intellectual theologian, “God doesn’t do miracles anymore. Those were only for the first century when people didn’t have the sophistication and knowledge that we have today.”
But- “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 ESV
The most impossible miraculous feat God ever did was the Resurrection of Jesus. And He still resurrects us, gives us new life and a new birth today (He’s the same!) He is still transforming worthless, evil people, lost, broken and neglected souls… like you and me, into His own chosen people, saved by grace, redeemed, and recreated!
Our part is prayer and faith. And He will even strengthen us in this!
Father God, we believe! You can do anything! Thank You for what you have already done in our lives! You have set us free! And we will choose to trust what You will do with us today! You can do anything!
