Today’s Encouragement is, “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Matthew 7:11 NLT
Good Gifts –
Please don’t think of God’s good gifts in a small way, or as only spiritual gifts, or as something He holds back from us until we ‘deserve’ it. His good gifts are unlimited!
My friend, God is The Perfect Father! He loves us more than we can understand (Ephesians 3:16–19), and He knows exactly what good gifts we need! He never withholds His blessings until we deserve them, because we will never be good enough to deserve any of His blessings! He gives His good gifts only to imperfect people, just like you and me, because He is Good!
So just ask Him! Ask Him to give you His good gifts! Whatever He chooses will be the perfect gift for you! His choice is always perfect, ours can be quite flawed, but He always knows! And because He knows us perfectly and loves us immeasurably, He really wants to give us these good gifts!
Thank You, Father, for Your generosity to us. It amazes us that You want to give us these good gifts!
