Full Expression –
Today’s Encouragement is, “Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.” 1 John 4:11-12 NLT
If – If we love each other! Then it is clear that God lives in us. And then His love is brought to full expression in us!
The converse must also be true, if we do not love each other, God’s Love is NOT brought to full expression… as if we are stifling His Love by not loving others…
So we have an essential role in fully expressing God‘s perfect love! His love is completed only when we love others with His Love. And His Love is not fully expressed when we choose not to love others.
We are essential participants in the full expression of God’s love.
Jesus explained this when he said the greatest Commandment is to love God, and the second greatest is to love others as yourself. He’s describing a circle of God’s love and our part in loving ourselves and others, complete and fulfilled.
God’s love is his perfect plan for his imperfect people. God Loves us. We accept His Love. We Love ourselves. We Love God. We Love others. Full expression, complete, and perfect; this is God’s love.
And it all begins with Him. “We love each other because he loved us first.”1 John 4:19 NLT
Thank You, Father, for Your Perfect Love, and Your perfect plan of the flow of Your Love. First from You to us, then back to You, and also through us to others. Who then learn to Love You also.
