He Watches Over You –
Today’s Encouragement is, “The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” Psalm 121:5-8 NLT
The Lord Himself – He doesn’t need helpers; He can do anything and everything! He may use people, as He sees fit, but recognize that He is omnipotent, so He needs absolutely nothing!
Yet He Himself chooses to Love us immeasurably! Notice how many ways His Love is demonstrated in these few lines.
He watches over us,
He stands beside us,
He keeps us, and
He keeps watch.
He does all this and infinitely more… because He Loves us.
We need never feel alone, afraid, unseen, unloved… God has clearly and perfectly demonstrated His immeasurable Love for us. Not only through Jesus on the cross, but through His resurrection, and through His written word!
Our part is acceptance, faith, trust, and dependence upon Him to keep watch over us, both now and forever!
Thank You Father, for Your immeasurable Love! That You would see us, know us, and Love us, is more than we can comprehend! Help us to choose to believe You, by faith, both now and forever.
