Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 3:16 NLT I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
His Glorious, Unlimited Resources-
Paul’s prayer for the church (v14-19) becomes specific, he asks that God empower His people with His Inner Strength… because my friends, He has Glorious, Unlimited Resources!
His inner strength is just one of those Glorious Unlimited Resources. As are the spiritual gifts (1 Cor 12) and also the fruits of His Spirit: Love Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control (Gal 5:22-23) and even much, much more!
Now consider this – What does our loving Father God desire to do with these resources? What use are they to Him – but to Give to His deeply loved people!
Please don’t miss out on His Glorious Unlimited Resources by envisioning earthly things like money… His resources are infinitely more valuable, and literally priceless!
What is Love worth?
What about Joy? Wisdom? Peace?
And His Inner Strength!
And these are just a few of God’s Glorious and Unlimited Resources.
Father, we so need Your Inner Strength, because we are weak, fallible, selfish people who honestly desire to be sons and daughters of whom you are proud.
From Your Glorious, Unlimited Resources Father, thank You for providing us with “everything we need for life and godliness” (2 Pet 1:3) and also Your Inner Strength.
