Today’s Encouragement is Luke 21:17-18 NLT And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But not a hair of your head will perish!
Because you are my followers-
Are you, like me, shocked at the spiral into decadence of our world today? It seems to move faster and faster, to become darker and darker, people sinking to ever more deeper levels of what was once unimaginable depravity.
Now I don’t want to play the ain’t it awful game! But we must acknowledge the rapidly changing world we face today.
As followers of Jesus, we now face the times which He spoke of in this passage… and we are truly hated by much of the world, for our beliefs, for our faith in Jesus.
Here’s the encouragement my friends! Jesus knew this was coming! He warned us and He prepared us, and He promised us… “not a hair…”!
We live in a decaying society. But God! We are hated for following Jesus. But God!
He will keep us safe! Sheltered in His arms!
Father God, strengthen us for today’s challenges, our struggle with sin, and the hatred we might encounter. Help us to Love others – still – just as You have loved us.
