Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 46:10 NLT “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”
Be Still –
These are God’s words to us… of course… yet please listen carefully to hear His Heart in this.
Be Still! Quiet Yourself! Calm Down! Stop!
And Know and Recognize that I AM God! Creator, Master, All-Knowing, All-Present, All-Powerful… I am In Complete Control!
Friends we get so caught up in our minds… our busyness… our tiny worlds… we must learn to Be Still!
To quiet our souls – Psalm 131:2a NLT “I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child…”
Because God IS!
God created us for times of Rest… we are designed by Him to rest for a third of each day and instructed to rest one day a week… too often, we ignore this reality and we wear ourselves out in frantic busyness.
God’s Love for us, draws us, invites us, to come before Him and to Rest in His presence, to be Still and Trust Him. We choose: Rest in Him or Work ourselves to death.
Father God, we are helpless without Your power at work within us… Help us to Rest in You, to Be Still, to quiet ourselves in Your Presence. To Trust You and to Worship You!
