Today’s Encouragement is 2 Peter 1:3 (NLT) By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
Everything we need –
Imagine having everything you need. Not only our physical needs but emotional and spiritual needs, all completely satisfied.
It’s rather surprising to learn… we already do! We have everything ‘we need for living a godly life’! Now, please explain to me… What. Else. Really. Matters…?
Admittedly, we may not ‘feel’ like we have everything, at least not Yet! But our Feelings are not our true reality. Just because we are unaware of our blessings does not mean that we are impoverished; it is only rejection of the blessings God has provided us that makes us destitute.
Lord God, open our eyes and hearts to the amazing blessings You have given to us, Your deeply loved children. By Your divine power… You have given us everything we need!
