Today’s Encouragement is Romans 6:4 NLT For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
Live new lives –
Now, we also – may live- new lives! We are reborn to a new life when we accept Jesus as our savior.
And – his mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23)
Is it possible that we are reborn each day – to a new life?
We often hear the expression, “Today is the first day of the rest of my life”, and this is true! How will our life today be different, better than yesterday? A new life today?
Unencumbered by yesterday sins….
Sadly, many of us seem intently determined to ‘live OLD lives’. Remembering our past, wallowing like pigs in slop, in our guilt, shame, and regret for old sins. By doing this… my friends, we choose to refuse, reject, and erase the immeasurable Grace of our God… Who gives us a new life, a new start, a clean slate, and erased, forgotten sins, for not only yesterday, but today and tomorrow also!
New life now! Now!
Now we may also live… new… lives…
