Today’s Encouragement is 1 Chronicles 9:33 ESV “Now these, the singers, the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple free from other service, for they were on duty day and night.”
Day and night-
Around the clock, day and night, singing praises and worshipping the Lord in His holy temple! Imagine!
This occurred in the Temple centuries before Christ, and we know this is still happening now in heaven, in God’s Presence! Revelation 4:8 NLT Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty- the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”
We have friends living in Jerusalem, who are part of a group, I suppose it truly is a church, but they praise and worship the Lord 24/7/365 in their worship center in Jerusalem. The north wall of this worship center faces the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives next to it, a solid glass wall, and all the chairs face this sight… we visited there once. And the supporters, the church, the worshippers, sign up for a one or two hour shift at all hours of the day and night… and the praise and the worship of God never stops! In this one tiny spot on earth, just as in the Temple thousands of years ago, and just as happens at all times in God’s Presence. Continuous Praise and Worship!
Father, help us to now, worship You, at all times, 24/7/365 singing praises and worshiping You in our hearts and our souls. You are what matters… nothing else in this life does…
