Today’s Encouragement is Mark 16:6 NLT “but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.”
He has Risen-
Friends He isn’t in the grave. He isn’t walking around the multiple ’holy places’ in Israel. He doesn’t ‘haunt’ the cathedrals or hang out in our church buildings. No, He is Risen! He lives today in His perfected form, ruling all of Heaven and ruling the Kingdom of God – which is within us!
The following magnificent description of Him, the Resurrected Christ, only begins to describe Him! Revelation 1:13-16 NLT “And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.”
Jesus – Then, was a seemingly ordinary person,
Jesus – Now, is a completely Extraordinary Being!
Jesus – Forever, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, our Savior, our Master, our Friend!
