Today’s Encouragement is Hebrews 12:15a NLT Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God.
Look after each other-
We know it’s a good idea, we think about it from time to time, we even watch Hallmark movies about it (well, some of us do!) Looking after each other is a gift we can give to others that blesses us, a gift that gives.
Friends when as believers in Christ, we care for each other, pray for each other do any kindness for another person, we are sharing God’s Love. We are even, and this blows my mind… expressing Love to God! We demonstrate, act out of Love for God, when we love others. Hebrews 6:10 “For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.”
And notice the context… ‘so that’… ‘none of you fails to receive the Grace of God’!
We experience the grace of God when others look after us! After a terrible car wreck years ago, I was very well cared for by hospital staff, my precious Janet, and several others… it was very humbling and yet such a blessing to be ‘looked after’. I certainly saw God’s Grace and Love in action from these caring people.
And now, it is our turn, to look after others… especially the believers, but also those who have not yet believed… so that no one fails to receive God’s Grace!
