Today’s Encouragement is 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words.”
Always be with the Lord –
My friends, we who believe in Christ, who hope in, trust in, cling to, rely on, we who love Him… we will always be with the Lord.
Some who read this may be tempted to accuse themselves, “Well I hope in Him some, I rely on Him sometimes, but not all the time, so maybe this doesn’t apply to me, I’m far from a perfect Christian, and I don’t really know how to love Jesus… so this might not apply to me, so maybe I’m not saved after all!” Friend, the enemy is our accuser. He is the father of such doubt and faith-eroding thoughts. We can choose to entertain these corrosive thoughts and allow them to take root and ultimately become the source of despair and death of faith. Or we can choose to turn away from such doubt, and turn back toward faith in Him, not choosing Doubt but choosing Faith.
So be comforted, be encouraged, be reassured that you are His chosen one. You’re reading this message, it applies to you, the Bible is written (obviously!) to those who read it! Friends, we will ALWAYS be with the Lord!
