Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 91:14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.”
Because he knows My Name –
Friends, the Name of Jesus is more than a word which identifies Him, it’s more than what Mary thought would be a good name for her baby, it’s more than a useful way to identify someone.
The Name, ‘Jesus’, is above every other Name.
Philippians 2:9-11 ESV Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, [10] so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
At The Name of Jesus- some bow, some mock, some curse… but one day my friend…. Every being that exists, or ever existed, will bow down to Him and recognize that He is Lord of all!
As Psalm 91:14 explains, God promises that… when we Know (understand the truth about) His Name, and we hold fast to Him in Love… God protects us!
Jesus’ Name is Holy. It is Power, Protection and so much more.
Father may we grow to understand more of the power of the Name above all Names… King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus. And this we ask in Jesus’ Name.
