Our eyes on Jesus-
In one episode of Seinfeld, Jerry is learning to ride a bike, and is told, ‘Wherever you look is where the bike will go’. Of course, he looks straight at a mailbox and crashes into it each time he gets near! The truth is my friends, we are drawn to whatever we are focused on.
Where is your focus? Making money? The next beautiful selfie? The new thing you want to buy? The attention of family or friends?
The list is endless.
The answer is Jesus!
When we focus on Jesus, we are drawn to Him. His word becomes our food, our nourishment. We will begin to think and to talk about Him, His Love, His Truth, His Salvation, His Sacrifice, His resurrection, His gift of Eternal Life…
He will become the Center… the Center of it all…
As He should be my friend.
Father God help us to keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus!
