Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 91:11 ESV For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
To guard you –
Ever feel alone? As believers we know that we are never alone. Never will I leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). But we sometimes look around with our human eyes and see no one, no help, no strength… the key is ‘our human eyes’.
Friends, the Bible reveals the Truth, about so much, but most especially the spiritual world. Our human eyes don’t see it, so we don’t accept, believe, or even consider it. Until we read of God’s miraculous and frequent spiritual activity in the lives of human beings, as described in His book.
And it becomes then, a matter of faith… Will I believe what this book says, or will I believe myself, only that which I have experienced, which I can see, touch or taste. Are you and I “IT”? Are we the supreme judge of truth, right and wrong? If it’s me friend, this world is in a heap of trouble! (And it is by the way, in a heap of trouble… precisely because most people believe that they or some human being… are the supreme judge of truth, right and wrong.)
But God has peeled back the curtain which separates the physical world which you and I inhabit and revealed some (not all) of the spiritual world, which is eternal, and which is just as true and real as our physical world.
And in this spiritual world, angels are watching over God’s beloved children, to guard us in all our ways! Thank You Lord!
