Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 73:28 But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.
That I may tell of all your works-
The writer of this song says:
For me – I choose to be near to God, to think about Him, His goodness, kindness, power, and His majesty. I’ve made Him my refuge and I look to Him for all my protection and my provision.
And as a result, I choose to tell of His works. I will praise You Father, by telling others about Your work in my life, what You have done for me!
My friends there is nothing more powerful, hope-giving, inspiring, even life-changing, than your own personal story of what God has done for you. Some call this a personal testimony, but don’t be turned off by that word, that idea. Your story is your own identity, unique, and God-designed. This isn’t about how bad you were and all your exploits, rather it’s about how very good God has been and now is to you. Consider all His goodness to you over your lifetime… and be prepared to “tell of His works”!
Father God help us to choose to be near to You, to seek You as our refuge, and be emboldened to tell of Your works, and Your goodness to us. This is our prayer in Jesus’ Name.
