Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 34:12-14 NLT Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? [13] Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! [14] Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
A life long and prosperous-
Pretty much everyone says, “Um yes please!” to a life long and prosperous… filled with peace and good health… right?
Wouldn’t it kinda make sense then to follow the wisdom of Gods inspired word?
Choose to speak the truth, speak good, not evil, say positive, helpful, and loving words to others. Not flattering lies, but hopeful, encouraging words.
Turn away from evil and do good to others. Find the good in whatever situation you face and pursue it.
Finally, this world has so much turmoil, so much animosity and division; Seek Peace! Find common ground, choose the more challenging pathway of peace rather than the emotional knee-jerk of opposition.
Easy? No!
Wise? Yes!
Lord Jesus You are the Prince of Peace. You are the source of all Peace. Help us to choose Your way, the way of Peace, that we may enjoy a life long and prosperous.
