Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
Every spiritual blessing-
Consider these blessings listed in the following verses:
He chose us v4
He Adopted us v5
He Blessed us with Grace v6
He Redeemed and forgave v7
He Lavished Grace v8
He Made known the mystery of His will v9-10
He Granted an inheritance v11
He Set us as the praise of His Glory v 12
He Sealed us with the Holy Spirit v 13
I’d say that about sums up ‘Every Spiritual Blessing’, wouldn’t you?
My friends, how can we ask for more? Would it not be appropriate to express our sincere gratitude for what He has already given – before we begin our requests for… more?
Father God, we thank you for your amazing grace and the gift of Every Spiritual Blessing. Help us to have grateful hearts as we consider how much You love us.
Oh how He loves you and me

I almost always go straight to Jesus with things, why, he was like us at one time,,, the Father seemed so big and awesome and he is of course. These verses help me to see the Father better as a loving Father

I don’t think there’s anything at all wrong with going straight to Jesus. He is our intercessor.. He has made it possible for us to go directly to God with our needs, and we always appeal to God ‘in the name of Jesus’ because Jesus told us we could do that…. But the technicality of the difference in praying to God vs praying to Jesus is something for a seminary theological discussion, and not good for much else. If the three are one, then all hear all prayers and all are able to respond to our prayers as needed.
