Today’s Encouragement is Galatians 1:3-5 “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, [4] who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, [5] to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”
This present evil age –
We tend to overlook (well I do) the greetings of Paul’s letters, but this one kind makes ya think maybe he put some thought into everything he wrote…. Ya think?
This passage almost sums up the entire gospel!
Consider the words, “to deliver us from the present evil age”. Now, let me ask you… “Did Jesus fail?” Since He was the Perfect, sinless, son of God, then the answer must be, of course, Jesus couldn’t fail! So, it must follow that… you and I are delivered from this present evil age! Already! Jesus has successfully, fully accomplished it, along with many other accomplishments!
So as we ask to be delivered from the evil around us… consider that He has already done everything necessary to do so. We are.. already… set free from the evil of these days. and this was my friends, God’s will for us!
Thank You Father for Your amazing goodness and kindness to us. You have already set us free in every way!
