Today’s Encouragement is Romans 15:5-6 “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, [6] that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
With one voice –
Years ago, an organization named Promise Keepers filled arenas and stadiums for weekend events of worship, preaching and teaching. There were often 50,000 men present singing God’s praises together… with one voice. It was life-changing, overwhelming at times, grown men, strong, tough men – hands lifted, hearts overflowing, pouring out their worship. In 1997 PK held an event called Stand in the Gap on the National Mall in Washington DC with hundreds of thousands of men present… worshiping Him … with one voice.
And today, with our comparatively tiny churches, we can do the same, two, ten, or ten thousand… we can still worship Him – with one voice.
Father God, may we be so in unity with one another, loving each other and loving You… that we can and do praise and worship you – with one voice.
