Today’s Encouragement is Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
With thankfulness in your hearts –
Our Thankfulness, our Gratitude, recognizes who He is, and also what He has done. When we recognize the incredible blessings He has given us, we become overwhelmed with gratitude.
For me, just the gift of His Salvation is enough. If I never receive any other blessing… I’ve already been given immensely more than I deserve! I need no more reason than His Salvation to sing His praises all the days of my life.
And any blessings in addition to Salvation are icing on the cake!
Father please open our eyes to see the abundant blessings which we already have been granted in Christ.
