Today’s Encouragement is Isaiah 43:25 “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”
I will not remember-
Such rich truth in these few words, as we find throughout His Word.
God is the one who erases, blots out, without a trace, all your sins, past present and future… and does so – for His own sake! Not for our sake? No my friend, for God’s own reasons, He erases our sins!
But wait, why?
Although we will never fully understand God’s ways – Isaiah 55:9 says “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Friends, is it possible that God loves us so much that He blots out our sins by the blood of Jesus, for His own sake… so that He can have relationship with us? Is it possible?
And then He says. And I forget your sins; I will not remember them. He chooses to erase the record and even His memory of our sin. God’s memory is perfect friends, knowing the number of hairs on our head, counting every tear we shed, (He is unlimited!) and yet, He chooses to forget our sin, past, present, and future!
Lord may we somehow, by Your grace, be granted a glimpse into Your immeasurable love for us, that You desire relationship with us so much, not in human desperation, but in Your divine and pure Love, that You choose to see us, washed white in the perfect cleansing of the blood of Jesus.
