Today’s Encouragement is Acts 13:43 “And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.”
Continue in the Grace of God –
Wonder what that means, continue in grace? Could it be, growing in faith? studying the scriptures? (all they had was the old testament books) maybe living a life of faith? maybe resting in God’s finished work of salvation? maybe all of the above?
Friends, we continue in the Grace of God as we remain in His realm, resting in Him, trusting in Him and in the finished work of Jesus. We step ‘out of’, or ‘away from’ His Grace when we rely on our own good deeds, our good intentions, our… anything! Remember His Grace is sufficient for us, we can do nothing on our own, but we can do all things through Christ! Through His Grace!
Lord, Your Grace covers us, provides everything we need now, or that we ever will need! We rely on You, Your Amazing Grace, undeserved, yet poured out on Your chosen children.
Your Grace Still Amazes Me
