You know

Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 139:1-4 O LORD, you have searched me and known me! [2] You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. [3] You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. [4] Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.

You know –

We all need reminding from time to time, of the basic truths of God.  Like, He is Omniscient.  He knows everything about everything.  He created everything, not just physical, tangible things like the earth, the universe, but the functions of our bodies, our minds and our spirits, how we think, how we sense things… He created all that!

So my friends, not only did He create all that, because He is unlimited in what He knows… He knows our thoughts, fears, prayers, hopes, dreams, everything about us…. even to the number of hairs on our head.  So of course… He knows our name!  He knows our every thought, emotion, and need. 

He alone can do this.  He alone can help us.  He alone is All in All! 

Creator God, Father and Maker, may we rest in Your sovereignty this day and always.  You go before us and behind us… Help us, Lord, to fully trust in You!
