Today’s Encouragement is Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
They had been with Jesus –
Uneducated, yet boldly speaking about Christ. The credentials of these men were recognized as simply this, “They had been with Jesus.”
Is it possible that you and I could also me so empowered? To speak boldly the Truth of God’s love for mankind through Jesus? This is not something we have to do to be saved, we only must believe in Jesus and accept Him as Lord, to be born again, to be saved, but living and speaking for Jesus is our privilege today.
And this comes about, only after ‘Being with Jesus’. Spending time with Him through Bible study and prayer, both speaking our prayer to Him and then listening to Him. He is just as available today, through the Holy Spirit, as He was 2000 years ago when He walked this earth.
He alone has the words of eternal life,
He alone offers forgiveness of sin
He alone is the source of transformation from our selfish life to selfless service.
Nothing else matters my friends.
Everlasting Father,
Guide us into Your direction for our lives. We do not know the way to go, so we depend completely on You. Help us to be all that You desire us to be.
In Christ alone

Amazing, I was reading this yesterday morning and wondered , will Rick do a lesson from this someday, I expected it yesterday but my timing is not the same as Gods. It’s a great lesson how God uses regular people
