Today’s Encouragement is John 4:6 Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.
Wearied from the journey-
It was noon, perhaps hot, Jesus and his friends had been walking a long distance, with still more miles ahead, and Jesus was tired.
Jesus was tired?
There are few places where we glimpse the human traits of Jesus, possibly because the New Testament writers were much more focused on His divinity over His humanity. Jesus wept as He saw the grief of Lazarus’ sister at his tomb. He became angry (but did not sin) at the sight of people hawking sacrificial animals at the temple.
He was a fully human. He was fully the Son of God. He was the God-Man.
One of the most poignant moments of His humanity was in the garden, as He prayed so honestly, so humanly, so purely… Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
Lord God cause to remember that Jesus was fully man and fully God, and that He suffered as we do, from the same things we suffer, and that by His perfect life and perfect Sacrifice and glorious resurrection… we are made new, made whole, made free.
Human for Me

It’s cool to see Jesus’ human side, by that I know he knows exactly any thing we go through , thank you Jesus.

Exactly! At times it’s easy to forget, hard to remember, that He truly was a human… but not ‘just’ a human!
