Today’s Encouragement is John 6:68 “Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life”
Words of eternal life –
Peter spoke of Jesus’ message in its entirety, all that Jesus ever spoke… was the Word of Life, and He, Himself, IS The Word and He is Life. (John 1:1, 4)
Jesus didn’t only bring the message, He was (and still IS) the message. He didn’t only bring Hope, He IS Hope. He didn’t only bring us words from God… He IS the Word of God.
Matthew 4:4b “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” The word of God is our Life… we can feed ourselves on the Word of Life!
The beautiful hymn goes …
“Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life…
let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life.”
Father thank You for the Word, for Jesus… who brought to us the words of eternal life, the Wonderful Words of Life…
