Today’s Encouragement is Mark 16:6 “And he said to them, ‘Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.’”
He has Risen-
Friends He isn’t in the grave. He isn’t walking around the multiple ’holy places’ in Israel. He doesn’t ‘haunt’ the cathedrals or hang out in our church buildings. No, He is Risen. He lives today in His perfected form, ruling all of Heaven and ruling the Kingdom of God – which is within us!
This magnificent description of Him, the Resurrected Christ, only begins to describe Him! Revelation 1:13-16 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. [14] The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, [15] his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. [16] In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.
Jesus – Then, was a seemingly ordinary person;
Jesus – Now, is a completely Extraordinary Being!
Jesus – Forever, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, our Savior, our Master, our Friend!
