Today’s Encouragement is Mark 16:2-4 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. [3] And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” [4] And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back-it was very large.
Who will roll away the stone –
As the three grief-stricken, heart-broken women went to Jesus’ tomb to anoint his lifeless body, one of the ladies asked, “It’s very early in the morning, we will need several people to remove the huge stone which covers the tomb! What will we do?” Another answered perhaps, “Let’s just go, don’t be discouraged, maybe God will provide a way.”
And looking up- they saw that the stone had been rolled back…
How many times my friends, do we allow practical, reasonable, and logical questions to stop us from obeying the urging of our hearts?
These ladies wanted to honor Jesus, wanted to go to Him, to be with Him, even in death, they still adored Him… Here was one last opportunity to be near Him… They thought about the size of the stone which blocked their way to Jesus – and they could have turned around, gone for help to the disciples, or just gone home and given up altogether… but No… in faith and hope, they pressed on to their goal to be with Him, to anoint Him, to honor Him (even though there was a huge stone!)
And when they arrived… the stone was already rolled away! And they were greeted by an Angel, who told them the most wonderful news. He is Not Here! He has Risen!
Lord, help us to follow Your leading, to allow nothing, no doubts, or questions, no matter how logical or wise they may seem… to stop us from coming to You.
Forever

Amen! May we always see that He will remove the barriers we think will keep us from Him!
