Today’s Encouragement is Philippians 4:5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
The Lord is at hand –
We know this, and for some of us – it’s been used to incite guilt and shame in our lives since childhood. ‘God is watching you!’ Well, yes, He is, but He sees everyone and everything, He’s not trying to catch us in some sin, He sees plenty of that. No, this is saying God is Near to us! He is at hand… so let others see your reasonableness, your rational behavior, your calm spirit, your peaceful attitude. Let others see the Grace of God in your life.
This can only occur when we are choosing to abide in His Peace, living in His Grace and Love.
Father may Your Peace, Grace and Love so fill our lives that our reasonableness is clear to everyone around us.
