Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 92:1-2 It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; [2] to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.
It is good to give thanks-
Ever known anyone with a grateful heart? Everything they encounter is met with sincere, deep, heartfelt thanks, a smile, and genuine gratitude. We love to see them because they exude joy and kindness. Or how about the opposite, someone who is terminally ungrateful, consistently dissatisfied and perpetually annoyed. These are the people we avoid at all costs, “Uh oh, here comes grumpy again!”
Notice v2, To declare His steadfast Love in the Morning and His faithfulness by night. What if we did that? What if we chose to commit to declaring, proclaiming, praising, Gods steadfast Love every morning? And end the day with declaring His faithfulness at night?
Might not our day be brighter, more hopeful, more joyful? Might our nights be more peaceful, more restful, more refreshing?
Lived between the morning bookend of declaring Gods Love and the evening bookend of His faithfulness to us… life could be pretty darn good… don’t you think?
Father God help us to frame our lives with Your steadfast Love and with Your Faithfulness. You are so good to us, help us to realize Your goodness, love and mercy!
