Cast Out

Today’s Encouragement is John 9:34 They answered him, “You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?” And they cast him out.

The cast him out –

The Pharisees threw the just-healed blind man out of the church, the very man Jesus had chosen to be healed.  He had just gained his sight, through Jesus gift, and the world immediately came down on him, the religious rulers kicked him out! 

Jesus chose this man to heal, and he then faced, and saw, the ugliness of the religious rulers.  But you know, I don’t think he cared anymore.  Because He had his sight, and he had just seen Jesus!

Lord help us to remember you are the only source of life, when the world attacks us and casts us out, we will come to You. The world has nothing to offer us, only You have the Words of Eternal Life.
