Today’s Encouragement is 1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
A little while –
What, we have to suffer? Yes… we do my friends! But keep reading… A Little While…. our suffering has a time limit! Only God knows what that limit is, but isn’t He the one you want to have the stopwatch for your suffering? He alone can be trusted to know when to begin, stop, extend, and to erase our suffering! He is the God of all Grace… He loves us perfectly, and He’s called us to Himself to His own glory in Christ….
And after our sufferings… He, Himself, will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you and me! And my friends… that… is totally worth suffering ‘for a little while’!
Father of Mercy help us be strong while we wait through the suffering for a little while. Reassure us of Your restoration and strengthening; for without You we are nothing.
