Strengthened with Power

Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 3:16 “that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.”

Strengthened with power –

Paul prayed for the church, for us, that –

consistent with riches of Gods glory – 

We would be strengthened –

With power –

Through His Spirit – 

In our inner being –

God’s riches are unlimited, not gold and silver and precious gems, but every good gift, far beyond what we could ever imagine … 

And according to these riches

God would give, grant us – without price, 

Strength, Power, in our hearts and minds, through His Spirit.

So, the presence of the Holy Spirit strengthens us with power in our inner being (our hearts, minds and spirits).

And reading on to verse 20, He “is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think,” He does – more than we can possibly imagine… 

“according to the power at work within us”

Father, we admit that are unable to understand, all that You are, what You do and what You are willing to do within us.  But we desire to stand ready for You to do within our lives, whatever You choose.  We ask you to strengthen us in this way.
