He is Patient

Today’s Encouragement is 2 Peter 3:8-9 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

He is patient-

God has patience with us, even with those who do not acknowledge Him.  He doesn’t want anyone to die without His truth. He is not slow… His perspective of time is eternal, ours is extremely limited.  While sometimes we may think He doesn’t hear, or doesn’t respond… remember this:

He is not slow – He keeps His promises.  Forever and Amen. 

Thank You Lord for your patience with me. Help me also be patient, both with myself and others.  And Thank You also Lord, for keeping Your beautiful promises to Your children.
