Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 16:8-9 I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. [9] Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.
What or whom is ‘set before’ you?
We each choose what is placed ahead of us, the higher truth, the higher principle, the thing or things we worship. Each person chooses… no one else can choose for you.
Because David choose to set God before himself, to place himself under Gods provision, his heart was not shaken when trouble came, instead he was glad, he rejoiced, he dwelt secure.
Lord help us to choose to set You always before us, that we too may dwell secure, and be glad, and rejoice in Your blessings. You alone have the words of life.
