Today’s Encouragement is “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” John 15:9 ESV
Now Remain –
Consider this with me. The Love that God the Father has for Jesus, His Son- what truer, deeper, more perfect Love could exist? Selah (pause and think about this)
And this perfect Love, of our perfect God for His perfect Son-
With This Love-
Jesus has loved us, and He still does!
He concludes with our part, our response:
Now – (at this time, at all times)
Remain – (stay, abide, rest, hide)
In –
(surrounded, enveloped, immersed, covered)
My Love – (this Perfect Love of Father for Son, and Jesus for you and me)
We are invited and welcomed into eternal life in the Love of God. Now and Always. We can respond to the Perfect Love of God and Jesus, and we can remain in that Perfect Love.
Father God, thank You for Jesus, for Your Perfect Love for Jesus, and for us, Your chosen, adopted, and deeply loved people. Help us to remain in and fully aware of Your Love and Jesus’ Love for us, just as we are, today and always.
