Today’s Encouragement is, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 NLT
A New Life –
“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.” This means anyone and everyone! It isn’t limited to a select few or to the “really good Christians” or those who are ministers, missionaries, and church workers! Anyone!
And we are a new person! A new life has begun! Outwardly, we usually don’t look very different, but inwardly, where it really matters, we are new!
Some are radically, obviously changed overnight! Others are more subtly changed. But we are all radically changed in our hearts and spirits, though it often takes time for our external lives to respond to the internal transformation. Still, regardless of appearances, the Truth is – “anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person!”
When we believe in Christ and become His, accepting Him as the Lord of our lives, we are being brought back to God through Christ. Period. Because “All this is a gift from God!”
This is the result of God’s immeasurable love, grace, and mercy. Not our efforts, but God’s gift.

Thank You Father God, for the priceless gift of a new life in Christ. Give us spiritual eyes to clearly see that we now, already, are – a new person in Christ!
